2009 FTC Disclosure Rules

According to the Federal Trade Commission, I have to disclose my policies and procedures regarding endorsements and paid advertising. Although this is a personal blog, from time to time I will provide my opinion on consumer products and services.

If I’m ever provided a product or service for free or at a discount, I will properly disclose that within my blog post. Additionally, any product or service that I provide my opinion on and purchase with my own money will be clearly disclosed.

Truth & Honesty in Content

All opinions, regardless of the source of the product or service, are my own and are no way influenced by third parties. I believe in the power of honest experiences, not just to benefit the consumer but to also benefit the brand, because without it there’s no innovation.

Affiliate Marketing

I will occasionally use this blog to share affiliate links to products that I’m writing about. Those links will be properly disclosed within the post. I receive a small commission from your affiliate link purchase, which goes into a fund that supports the day-to-day maintenance of this website such as hosting fees, domain fees, and paid media advertising. Website Analytics

Google Analytics is a free website analytics tool that I use to monitor website traffic. It helps me understand who my visitors are, where they come from, and in some cases what they were searching for when they found my website. This information is used by me for my own personal knowledge.
